Italian company Conceria Walpier Tannery produces Buttero Vegetable Tanned Leather in Tuscany. They are well recognized for their age-old, traditional methods of tanning plants using tree barks. Walpier certifies that they tan leather using the exact traditional vegetal procedures because they are a part of the elite Pelle Vegetale Consortium.
We also use premium leather from Wickett & Craig Tannery located here in the United States. Some custom combinations may include leather from both Tanneries.
